Genotyping - Microsatellite

Instructions:

  1. Complete the on-line Service Request for every genotyping project submission.
  2. For each capillary you will be using, submit 10 µL of the microsatellite dye-labeled sample(s) at the proper dilution such that ONE µL added to the size standard and formamide will produce rfu's in the recommended range of 1000 to 3000.
  3. Once data is posted on dnaLIMS, you may come to our lab and analyze it with GeneScan or GeneMapper software. We have one copy of each software program available at computer workstations for clients to use during the day.
